August 4, 2015 – Chicago, IL – Jameson Sotheby’s International Realty today announced that it has reached an agreement with Hunter’s Fairway Sotheby’s International Realty to acquire its two Barrington, IL offices. Founded in 2007, Hunter’s Fairway Sotheby’s International Realty has an established presence in the luxury real estate market in Barrington, IL and surrounding areas. With similar goals in meeting the Chicagoland area’s luxury real estate needs, this joining of two Sotheby’s International Realty affiliates has been a natural next step forward.
“I have strong ties to the Barrington community that reach back to when I went to high school there,” said Chris Feurer, CEO of Jameson Sotheby’s International Realty. “No one company is dominating the luxury market currently, and the acquisition of Barrington puts us one step closer to our goal of dominating the luxury market.”

With over 20 years of real estate experience, Doug has a vast amount of knowledge to help support and lead our North Shore Offices.

Prior to joining Jameson Sotheby’s International Realty, Doug was the Managing Broker of Prudential Rubloff’s Lincoln Park Office for nearly four years. Doug managed over 100 agents and was able to increase sales volume by 30%. In this role, he successfully supported his office in the consolidation of Prudential Rubloff with Koenig & Strey to become Berkshire Hathaway Homes Services. His office had over $400 million in annual sales volume. Before being named Managing Broker, Doug was a top producing Broker Associate with Prudential Rubloff for ten years, with an impressive $880,000 average sales price.

Consumers still can search for a home based on lifestyle and amenity but now have the ability to sort their results by various home features including pools, kitchens and views, and compare visual images of that feature among their search results.
