Jay Wilewski

Jay Wilewski made a decision early in his career to base his client interactions on the cornerstones of honesty, character and integrity; as a result Jay has built a strong real estate practice that is both professionally and personally successful. The journey began in 2007 when joining the Commercial Lending Division as a Credit Analyst with Wintrust Corp in Barrington, IL. However, in 2008 the economy was in a recession. Why was this significant? The experience solidified the importance of principals, integrity and responsibility.

Years later, Jay moved from Barrington to Chicago to work as a Leasing Consultant in the Gold Coast. Working in the prestigious but competitive Gold Coast area, Jay pushed himself to be successful. How so? Excellent listening skills, strong knowledge of the real estate market and persistence supported Jay’s growth in this segment of the industry. Jay’s success with his clients in this dynamic market was predicated by his reliance on honesty and integrity. Realizing that he could consistently incorporate these characteristics into a thriving real estate practice, Jay decided to become a full time real estate broker.
Jay joined The Connie Antoniou Team with Jameson Sotheby’s International Realty in 2017. The Team was number one in Closed Volume between the three North Shore Jameson Sotheby's offices and a top performer in the Barrington area real estate market. Now starting his own real estate business with Sotheby's, Jay plans to apply the same principals, dedication & knowledge that helped the team achieve top status.

Jay is a long-time resident of the interwoven communities of Barrington, Inverness, Palatine and Hoffman Estates. He Graduated from William Fremd High School in 2003 & attended Western Illinois University and holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Finance. Jay married his Tinder love in April 2018 and recently purchased a home in Palatine. Jay is eager to grow his business and his family.
