Mary Sehlhorst

Real Estate runs in Mary's blood growing up in a multi-generational real estate family in Winnetka. Mary attended New Trier High School where she was a member of the Varsity swim team. There she developed a strong work ethic at an early age through competitive swimming to which she employs today as a real estate broker.


Mary graduated from DePauw University where she majored in Communications and minored in Sociology. Upon graduation, Mary lived in New York City where she worked at Hachette Filipacchi Publications as a graphic designer. While in New York, she developed a fondness for architecture and home design. As much as Mary loved the vibrancy of the big apple, her Chicago roots were calling her back home.


After starting a family, Mary and her husband moved to Glenview. Shortly after, she decided to switch gears and start working in the real estate industry. Mary wanted to utilize her desire to help others in her every day work. Mary's affection for architecture and background in design coupled with her communications degree and hard work ethic has given her the skill set for success in a career as a real estate professional. In 2019 after 9 years of experience, Mary decided to further her career by joining Jameson Sotheby’s International Realty.


Mary and her husband currently live near downtown Glenview with their sons and a house full of pets. With two sports minded, athletic sons, Mary is well versed on the area’s opportunities for travel sports. She knows the area’s sport scene better than anyone! When not working, she enjoys swimming laps at Roosevelt pool, running, biking the local trails with her family as well as walking her dog, Ruby. She is an active member of the Glenview Community Church, Glenview Youth Baseball Board Member and the PTA. Her firsthand knowledge of the North Shore and its offerings is something she strives to bring into service for her clients to make their real estate dreams come true.
