Wendy Tesler Wilmouth

After nearly a decade of experience investing in the Chicago residential real estate market, it was only natural that Wendy looked towards real estate brokerage as the next step in her career. Customer oriented, she is taking a 180° turn from corporate management towards one-to-one broker client relationships in Real Estate. Wendy brings to the table personal experience in buying, selling and renting residential properties in the city. She has been in the market during fast times and crisis periods. Wendy can say firsthand, that each real estate deal is different and no matter how obvious it seems, each has its own set of challenges. That is where Wendy excels. With her feet on the ground and a very methodic approach, she has a knack for details. Wendy is quick to look at market data to position any deal in today’s world and establish probable outcomes. With her savvy as a Chicago real estate investor and her 30 years of international corporate negotiations, she has a “talent” to work through the obstacles. Wendy focuses on the “solution” instead of the “problem” and takes pride in helping her clients close their deals with flying colors. Wendy’s goal: to help Real Estate Investors, Sellers and Tenants find and conclude the right opportunities to meet their needs. When not at work, she has a real affinity for the arts and architecture and is a fan of “walking the Chicago neighborhoods”. In addition, Wendy participates actively in several Homeowners Associations in River North and Streeterville. A proud North Carolina native, Wendy attended Illinois Institute of Technology (BS in Metallurgical Engineering) and Northwestern University (MBA), before moving to Paris France. After 30 years abroad working in International Telecommunications Companies, she is transitioning back to Chicago, a city that she loves, with her French husband and currently calls Streeterville home.
