Michael Kaplan

One of Jameson Sotheby’s youngest agents, Michael Kaplan successfully leveraged his youthful perspective to provide exceptional service to his clients. Michael was able to make a big impact in the real estate industry at such a young age on his ability to connect and communicate. His outgoing personality combined with industry professionalism has allowed him to grow his business exclusively off of referrals and repeat clients. He is a firm believer in letting his service speak for itself and that word of mouth is the best form of advertising.


With an unrelenting work ethic, Michael works tirelessly to make all real estate transactions for his clients as stress-free as possible. His unprecedented passion for his career was instilled as a child while he watched his father grow into a successful business owner. His father was able to not only build rapport with his clients but also build lasting relationships that would last for years to come. Michael looks to utilize the same strategy to build long term relationships with his own clients.

Michael currently works in a team under the mentorship of Ryan Grober, team lead of the Grober Group. Ryan’s over decade long experience in real estate has given Michael an opportunity to learn from one of the industry's finest.

Michael is a native of the Chicagoland area. He grew up in Vernon Hills, IL and has lived in Chicago since 2018. He currently resides in Wrigleyville (despite being a White Sox fan) and lived in Lincoln Park prior. However, his expertise is not limited to one part of the city. He has completed transactions in Pilsen, Noble Square, Gold Coast, and many more neighborhoods all around Chicago. In his free time he enjoys watching hockey, playing golf, and spending time with his family.
